1. what do you think causes the achievement gap? i think the achievemnt gap is caused by the fact that students do not pay attention to their school studies and they are slacking off and not doing their work.

1. what do you think of mr. hayden? i think mr hayden is a smart man. he talks whats on his mind and i think that he wants to show young people the mistakes that america has done so that they dont repeat it again.
2. tom hayden does not think of himself as a civil rights leader. do you see him as one why or why not. i think that tom hayden is a civil rights leader because he expressed his civil rights of protesting also he was trying to protect the fact of civil rights to say no to the draft.
3. tom hayden feels that leaders are not as important as the hundreds or thousands of people behind them. what does he mean by that? what tom hayden means is that without people to support the leader's cause then the leader cannot change the laws for the better or worse in some case. he or she needs followers to change the rules or else he cant change anythin.

man its been a long time since i wrote in the blogger. lets see not much happened. i spent my thanksgiving holidy at my grandpas. um oh i got news that for once in like 10 11 years around there the christmas party is gonna be in my house which is totally awsome because now we wont be late like always. the nintendo wii is finally here but i am too poor soo i have to save money or get lucky and have a relative give it to me for christmas or my birthday which is coming up. yeah thats it oh yeah i also found out they have a new pokemon game called diamond and pearl it looks soo tight its in 3d graphics i really hope they put some cg graphics on there.

i think the sign means several things. first it could be talking about your school work like if someone is failing in class then they are hurting their own chances of succeeding in life. i think mr hsu my technology teacher put it up there because he wants to show us that one should not hurt themselves instead they should work on helping themselves and possibly others. hmmm lets see one time i had a friend who copied from a student on the CATs. i looked at him and i just thought how he can live with cheating. i talked to him after class i asked hey why did you cheat dont you know you are going to get caught? he replied hah they will never catch me. besides its not like im hurting myself instead im helping myself ecause im giving myself good grades. well i thought what is wrong with him. next day he and the student he copied were sent to the principle. i dont think that incident affected me much. the incident affected the student who was being copied from because he now was being treated as a cheater. the copier was also affected because now he has to take lower classes than everyone else.
